STOP THE BUGS CAMPAIGN WINS CIPR PRIDE AWARD 2008

On 12 November 2008 the Trust won an Award at the CIPR PRide Awards which recognises excellence in public relations and communications. The Gold Award was achieved in the Public Sector category and the judges comments were as follows:

“Terrific! Portsmouth Hospitals’ campaign showed just how effective a simple clear message can be. Consistent, coherent, with some beautiful graphics and excellent visual materials. We particularly liked the use of bus stop posters and bus sides to get the message across to local people travelling to the hospitals to reinforce the message. Hopefully the results will generate reduced infection rates in the future.”
